The Bourdega from the Jack Ryan Beggars Bush Irish whiskey range is a 15 year old single malt which is initially aged in bourbon barrels before being transferred over to Sherry casks for a finishing period.

Nose
Fudge, honey'd apple and grilled banana. A hint of hot chocolate develops.
Palate
Softly oaky at first, with peppercorn and burnt sugar, followed by sugared almonds.
Finish
Treacle, blackberry and cereal.
