This limited edition offering from Jack Daniel's is part of its Tennessee Travelers range. Bold & Spicy is a high rye whiskey, with a mash bill of 70% rye, 12% barley and 18% corn, and bottled at a punchy 53.5%. Full of spice, it's a great sipper for rye lovers, it'll also hold its own in a mean Manhattan.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Drizzles of caramel with warm, oaky vanilla, and spicy gingerbread.

Palate: Plenty of rye spice coming through, tamed by creamy corn, sweet barley, and vanilla, layered with pepper, allspice, and stewed orchard fruits.

Finish: The rye spice lingers alongside oak char and yet more vanilla.
