The cask gets top billing in Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage, which uses a heavy toast and light char to develop deeper toasted layers in the oak. The whiskey then goes in at a lower-than-usual filling strength of 50% ABV, spending at least seven years in some of Lynchburg’s highest-elevation barrel houses. Bottled at 50% ABV, this one-litre edition offers the individual character that comes with a single-barrel release.
