A limited-edition collaboration between Jack Daniel’s and the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, celebrating a shared mindset rooted in the 'Pursuit of Possibility'. This premium Tennessee whiskey is matured with extra seasoned barrel staves and bottled at a powerful 58.7% ABV for a smooth, supple profile with a bold, robust finish.
That specific ABV pays homage to McLaren Racing’s founder, Bruce McLaren, whose first race car wore number 58 and was a modified Austin 7 Ulster, as well as Jack Daniel's very own Old No. 7. The whiskey comes housed in a unique case, drawing inspiration from the Halo structure and materials used in McLaren’s Formula 1 cars. The Halo is a three-pronged structure made from titanium that surrounds the cockpit of an F1 car, designed to shield from impact during accidents.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Sweet maple with fruit notes and elements of toasted oak.
Palate
Initially, sweet caramel, chocolate, and charred oak. Pipe tobacco follows, with a dose of bananas, some nuttiness, and baking spice. It coats the mouth nicely with a medium-weight mouthfeel.
Finish
A bold finish, and though the heat dissipates quickly, it leaves ample amounts of barrel spice and brown sugar candy lingering.
