Jack Daniel's No.4 1L Bottling Note

It's the fourth release in the Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series, this time honouring Jess Gamble, who was the first Master Distiller for Jack Daniel's to not come from Jack's family!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Light with plenty of sweetness. There are hints of dry spice and oily nuts, a touch of smoke.

Palate: Quite smooth and soft with notes of banana milkshake, a mixed nut note, a touch of caramel with crème anglaise.

Finish: Sweet with a little cereal sweetness and toasty oak.

Exceptional offering from JD

What I wish regular no 7 tasted like. Wonderful balance of smoothness. The tasting notes are very dead-on when they wrote "banana milkshake". It has the influence good wood to really make the mouth feel well-developed against the sweet-over-smoke profile. It isn't Sinatra but it also isn't far behind it.
