An annual holiday treat from Jack Daniel's, their Holiday Select Tennessee Whiskey is matured in casks which end up creating their Christmas Barrel Tree at the distillery in Lynchburg. The 2014 edition is the first with Master Distiller Jeff Arnett choosing the barrels.

this 2014 holiday select is the first single barrel release of the series. Not too differnt from the standard single barrel offering. A tad more kick and a bit more spice...maybe slightly less sweet. but instantly recognizable as JD.
