The second bottle in Jack Daniel’s Gold Medal Series was released in 1997 to commemorate the 1905 gold medal awarded at the Liège Fair in Belgium. The win was prompted by Mr M. Hoctor, a British acquaintance from the St. Louis Fair, who encouraged Jack Daniel to submit his Tennessee whiskey once more. A collectable piece of Jack Daniel’s proud history.
