The fifth release in the Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series, celebrating the fifth master distiller of the world-famous Tennessee whiskey - Frank Bobo! Frank was the Jack Daniel's master distiller from 1966 to 1988, and oversaw the continuing meteoric rise of the whiskey's popularity.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Light with plenty of sweetness. There are hints of dry spice and oily nuts, a touch of smoke.

Palate Quite smooth and soft with notes of banana milkshake, a mixed nut note, a touch of caramel with crème anglaise.

Finish Sweet with a little cereal sweetness and toasty oak.

Fantastic
Banana and caramel notes and really smooth. No smoke, tar or leather, so a different taste to standard number 7.

Jack in another skin.
What is there to say? It's jack. It's 3% better than the bog standard stuff. I'd challenge anyone to tell the difference between these limited edition. Don't get me wrong their nice. But the jump up to single barrel is the bench Mark imo.
