Description

This is the fourth batch of The Flintlock Irish single malt whiskey from J.J. Corry. Boasting a generous 21-year age statement, this batch matured in a selection of six Kentucky bourbon casks before marrying and finishing in a fino sherry butt. A release of 1,800 bottles. With rich layers of zesty fruit, creamy vanilla, and floral honey, it's impressive stuff as ever from the J.J. Corry team.

Nose

Floral notes of orchard blossom, stone fruit, a touch of grapefruit zest, vanilla, milky coffee, and subtle red berry tang.

Palate

An abundance of creamy lemon posset, poached stone fruits, and floral honey, with oaken vanilla, toffee, and hints of herbaceous barley.

Finish

Toasted almonds, vanilla, buttery oak, with hints of vinous fruit and dried flower tea.
