    J&B Rare

J&B Rare has long been a go-to for whisky fans across the globe, particularly in Europe.

Following the end of Prohibition in the USA, J&B Rare was created by Justerini & Brooks to appeal to the American palate, hitting shelves in 1933. The blend itself is made with a combination of 42 Scotch single malts and grains, with a generous portion of Speyside whisky at the expression's core.

J&B Rare is perfect for those who enjoy a classic whisky taste with a modern twist. This smooth Scotch is great on the rocks or neat, and it's also versatile enough to be used in cocktails.

J&B Rare whisky is an affordable option that delivers on taste and quality, so it's no wonder that it's one of the most popular Scotches on the market. If you're looking for a go-to whisky that won't break the bank, J&B Rare is a great choice.

    Decent...

As soon as I opened it, it smelled like tequila and tasted like tequila but didn't mess with my stomach like tequila. It's good with Coke and lemon or Mellow Yellow but not straight.

    Good for warm weather

I like it with a good bit of soda and a twist of lemon. Good warm weather drink. It's light with a slight citrus/ fruit aroma.

    do not waste your money

one of the worst whisky ever made, made for mixing so you do not taste this foul drum

    Mr. J&B

My favorite blended scotch. Has a nice little bite at the end. I like it better than Johnnie Walker Red, Dewar's, and Chivas Regal(expensive rotgut in my opinion). Take a Mello Yello soda add two measures of J&B. Very nice drink Call it a Mellow Scotsman

    a classic whisky

This one has stood the test of time. I find it to be crisp, refreshing and elegant yet simple (and I mean simple in a very good way). As long as they don't go crazy with the amount of caramel colouring, this one should continue to be a reliable blend for eternity! I agree completely with one reviewer here: I prefer this over some single malts too. Much depending of course on my mood, wallet etc etc
