Description

This gift pack includes a bottle of Isle of Raasay Single Malt Whisky, a marriage of peated and unpeated Isle of Raasay spirit matured separately in first-fill rye Whiskey, Chinquapin oak and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks. This pack includes two nosing glasses.

Nose

Baked plums, red apples, and cherries lead to drying wood smoke with earthy vanilla and a hint of flint.

Palate

Pebbly minerality with crisp peat smoke, sweet, dark caramel, and biscuity malt. Creamy oak and peppery barley tangle beneath.

Finish

Just a subtle whiff of smoke on the finish, cushioned by salted nuts, chewy butterscotch, and sweet oak char.
