Islay Mist
MacDuff International

The Islay Mist blend was first launched in the 1920s. Known for its good peating level which comes from malts like Laphroaig.
Sweet, soft fudge, and all the inherent creaminess, slightly herbal.
Soft, creamy. Barley.
Spirity, oak.

Drinks several levels above its price point. I have a taste for good scotch and really enjoy a lot of very pricey bottles. But for a regular weekly bottle this is my jam. In a taste test it will beat out more popular blends such as Johnny Walker Black and Chivas for a fraction of the price. I have cut out beer altogether thanks to this lovely piece of drinkable craftsmanship.
Great smooth whiskey.
Don't normally drink blends but this is really decent for the price. Well done
For the price you really can't go wrong with this one. Lovely and smooth, not overbearing and with a nice peaty flavour. Recommended!
For the price, it is an exceptional blend for peat lovers on the cheap, I would call it a mini Ardbeg, not very smoky though but still peaty, smooth also since the alcohol only warms the palette, no burn!
