    Inverleven 1986 (bottled 2015) (RO/15/09) - Rare Old (Gordon & MacPhail)

An independently bottled single malt Scotch whisky from the Inverleven distillery, which has sadly been closed since 2002. This was distilled in 1986 and left to mature until 2015, when it was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Rare Old range. Very collectible stuff, this.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Fresh, fruity malt - loads of apples and grapes to be had here. Slightly herbal at points.

    Palate

Creamy malt, with a touch of floral air to it. A little bit peppery at points, before waves of fruit return.

    Finish

Light and floral as it end.
