Spiced Peach Cobbler 1988 (bottled 2016) - Wemyss Malts (Invergordon)
Indie Invergordon bottled by Wemyss Malts, drawn from a single barrel. This was distilled in 1988 and set aside to age until 2016, when Wemyss cracked open the cask and drained it of its delicious single grain whisky. 216 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cinnamon and clove (a touch of cardamom seed too), followed by big bundles of poached pear.
Palate
Caramel-drenched apples and peaches, dusted with black pepper.
Finish
Milk chocolate and white grape.
