Well-aged grain ahoy! It's another indie Invergordon bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, and this one was mature for 50 years! Despite being on the 21st batch of Invergordon, the Boutique-y team still has quite caught on that "Coffey" (as in the Coffey still) is not spelled the same as "coffee".
Batch 21 is a release of 328 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Dates, brown sugar, hickory, a hint of cola cube and cardamom, plus touches of strong coffee.
Roast chestnuts, a smidge of antique oak, chewy caramel, clove, cardamom spiciness once again.
Dense honeycomb, fried banana, buttery pancakes, Curaçao orange, cinnamon.
