Invergordon 45 Year Old 1972 (Master of Malt)
Oooowie, would you look at this! Single grain Scotch from Invergordon, matured in a bourbon barrel for 45 years between 1972 and 2018... who managed to get their hands on that then? OK, we'll try and stop being so smug about it, but it was us! This cracker joins our own Master of Malt collection with a total release of 176 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Silky butterscotch and candied nuts intertwine with creamy layers of vanilla and crushed almonds. Popcorn follows, with tangy dried orange, Rich Tea biscuits, chocolate buttons, and distant dried herbs.
Palate
Ripe orchard fruits welcome the way for crumbly vanilla fudge and more buttery popcorn character. Floral notes of toasted coconut are joined by more candied citrus, herbal tea, and salted papaya.
Finish
Lemon drizzle cake and biscuity barley wrap things up, with rich, leathery oak, tobacco, raisins, cracked pepper, and a touch of minerality.
