Invergordon 43 Year Old 1972 - Pearls of Scotland (Gordon & Company)

Wonderfully well-aged single grain Scotch whisky from the Invergordon distillery, bottled as part of the Pearls of Scotland range by Gordon & Company. It was distilled all the way back in December 1972 and bottled in June 2016 with an outturn of 263 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Sponge cake with thick layers vanilla cream and strawberry jam, a whisper of citrus peels.

Palate

Runny caramel and honey, with a touch of dark chocolate. Vanilla.

Finish

Lasting peppery oak and orchard fruit.
