Invergordon 33yo '87

The folks at independent bottler Murray McDavid are always on a mission to dig out good casks, and with their skills, they often strike gold! This bottling is a great example – a 33 year old single grain, distilled at Invergordon back in 1987 and matured in a pair of bourbon hogsheads, before finishing for 18 months in Port and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Released as part of Murray McDavid's appropriately named Mission Gold collection.

Palate Oily on the palate with resinous oak and grain, sweet, cakey spice, currant buns, and coffee with vanilla cream.
