This glorious single grain from the Invergordon Distillery was distilled in January 1990 and allowed a rather generous maturation period of 31 years! Drawn from a single cask, a total of 313 bottles were independently released by Duncan Taylor for its Rare Auld series.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet citrus with orange peel and juicy lemon, buttery pastry, and gentle grist.
Palate
Honeyed cereal, chocolate Brazil nuts, some darker notes of blackberry and raisin.
Finish
Frangipane, flaked almonds, and more citrus sweetness with smooth oak and candied ginger.
