Description
From the Invergordon Distillery comes a 24 year old single grain Scotch whisky, which has been independently bottled by The Whisky Cellar. This expression was aged in a single cask for 24 years - from February 1996 to August 2020. Following that, it was bottled up with an outturn of 188 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttered crumpets, pineapple chunk sweeties, honeyed cereal and hints of hickory.
Palate
Still enjoyably honeyed, though now there's chocolatey richness in the mixed and some black pepper heat.
Finish
Apricot, orange peel and freshly baked banana bread.
