Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Toasty, spicy nose with hints of apple peel, allspice and butterscotch. A hint of peppermint.

Palate Rich notes from the cask - a lot of bourbon influence here. A touch of cinnamon, manuka honey and cooked fruit.

Finish Vanilla cream and salted caramel on the finish.

Overall A rich, toasty whisky with masses of influence from the bourbon cask.

Reviews for Invergordon 24 Year Old 1988 (cask 9000) (Berry Bros. & Rudd)
A great grain!
I think grains need to have more age behind them than malts in order to shine. This one qualifies. Very accurately described in the MoM tasting notes above. I'm glad I bought it!
