Invergordon 20 Year Old 1997 (cask 11897) - Clan Denny (Douglas Laing)
A single cask bottling of Invergordon single grain, independently bottled by the sublime Douglas Laing as part of the Clan Denny range. This expression was distilled in May 1997 and left to age in a refill hogshead for a whole two decades, before being bottled in June 2017 without any additional colouring or chill-filtration at 50% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Full of winter berries, sweet cereals and vanilla ice cream. Oak spice and barley sugar are present throughout.
Palate
Rich and creamy, with more soft vanilla and honeyed cereals among sugar sprinkled strawberries and supple citrus notes.
Finish
Long and delicately sweet.
