Invergordon 11 Year Old 2007 - Single Cask (Master of Malt)
Single grain Scotch whisky from the Invergordon distillery, independently bottled by Master of Malt as part of our Single Cask Series. This one is an 11 year old expression matured in a bourbon cask from February 2007 to Mar 2018, then bottled at cask strength without any of that chill-filtration or additional colours.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Initially quite delicate and then lots of vanilla with some spicy cinnamon notes.
Palate
In a word, creamy, in three words, very extremely creamy, but there are also floral honeyed notes layered with ginger and warm spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish
Long finish with a peppery kick at the end.
Overall
Decadently creamy grain whisky.
