A youthful single grain Scotch whisky from the Invergordon distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Despite this being the 16th batch of Invergordon whisky from the Boutique-y folks, they still haven't quite got the message that the Coffey still is not spelled the same as "coffee"...
Batch 16 is a release of 217 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Packed full of vanilla and menthol, with a hint of exotic spice.
Palate
Cherry and almond (a bit Amaretto-esque), with lingering hints of toasted cereals in the background.
Finish
Marmalade, white pepper and coconut.
