Unfortunately, we can't ship Inchgower 26 Year Old 1980 (cask 14155) (Adelphi) to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
Inchgower may not be the first distillery to jump to mind when you think of heavily Sherried whiskies, but just have a look at this one!!! It's an independently bottled Inchgower, distilled in 1980 and bottled 26 years later in 2007 by Adelphi, with an outturn of only 58 bottles.
Nose: Rich Sherry as it opens, leading into dark chocolate and buttered toast.
Palate: Surprisingly herbaceous, though still packed to the brim with intense Sherried sweetness.
Finish: Butterscotch, red berries and coffee beans.
