Inchgower 19 Year Old 2001 (cask 9334) - The Cooper's Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co,)
Interested in some indie Inchgower? Well, as luck would have it, we've got some right here! This 19 year old expression was distilled by Speyside's Inchgower in April 2001. Initially it was matured in American oak casks before being finished in a Sauternes wine cask, bringing plenty of sweet fruit notes to the flavour profile. 258 bottles were produced as part of The Cooper's Choice range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Marmalade, toasted marshmallow, a whiff of scorched oak.
Palate
More orangey sweetness, balanced by festive spices. Candied grapes, toffee, shortbread.
Finish
More cinnamon and clove, with a subtle mineral dryness.
