Inchgower 14 Year Old 2007 - Vintage Casks (Mossburn)
An impressive single malt from Inchgower, independently bottled by Mossburn for the Vintage Casks series. Distilled in 2007, this expression spent the next 14 years maturing, including some time in a single Sauternes wine barrel, imparting plenty of richly sweet, fruity character to balance the bold barley. It was finally bottled up in 2021, with a total of 291 bottles released at cask strength, without colour, or chill-filtration.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Warm croissants with butter and honey, orchard blossom, and a touch of hay.
Palate
Oily malt with spicy wisps of ginger softened by sweet caramel, baked pear, and juicy sultanas.
Finish
Hints of caraway and dried herbs build beneath baked fruit and butterscotch.
