Inchgower 13 Year Old 2009 (cask 811028) - Auld Goonsy's Malt
A single cask bottling of Inchgower single malt, independently released by Auld Goonsy's Malt. Distilled in November 2009, the whisky matured for 13 years, including a finish in a first-fill Port hogshead. A release of 239 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh stone fruits and toasted fruit buns, packed with currants and cranberries. A touch of fennel and drying oak develops in time.
Palate
Buttery malt and herbal honey are backed by stewed berries and a touch of clove. Leathery oak and tobacco nestle beneath.
Finish
Honeyed barley, berry jam, and mocha, with a dusting of cinnamon, pepper, and nutmeg.
