Sherried Inchgower alert! This indie Speysider was distilled in 2007, and rested in a single first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt for the next 13 years. Adelphi bottled this one, releasing 525 bottles at a generous 58.7% ABV.
Very dark chocolate, orange marmalade, and plump raisins.
A touch of herbaceous oak, bolstered by toasty spice, blackcurrant jam, and syrupy sherried sweetness.
More jammy fruit lingers alongside rich mocha, and dried apricot.
