Inchgower 12 Year Old 2009 (cask 348069) - James Eadie
12 year old single malt from Inchgower, a fab distillery in Speyside. This one was distilled in 2009 and matured for a dozen years, including a finishing period in an Oloroso sherry butt. Eventually, it was bottled up at cask strength by James Eadie, with 613 bottles produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Soft currant bun sweetness, with some grassy malt and a touch of flinty minerals.
Palate
Stem ginger, dark chocolate, a smidge of anise and orange.
Finish
Marmalade on rye toast, vanilla pod, a hint of coffee.
