From the fab Fable Whisky indie bottling series comes a ten year old Inchgower single malt Scotch whisky, distilled back in 2011. After a decade in a hogshead cask, it was bottled up at 59% ABV, with 294 bottles produced. The label features a design by artist Hugo Cuellar, showing a scene from the folklore tale 'The Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay'. Looks like the piper is in some sort of labyrinth. Hopefully they don't meet a minotaur. Or hopefully they do meet David Bowie.
Enjoyably floral, with zesty fruity notes developing later on.
Gingerbread, green apple, mineral hints lingering.
Quite nutty on the finish, with the final touches of citrus zest.
