Mossburn Distillers are the owners of the upcoming Torabhaig distillery - though while we wait for the whisky to come of age, Mossburn have started to independently bottle Scotch whiskies! This is a 10 year old single malt from the Inchgower, a popular distillery among blenders, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2017 at 46% ABV.
Oily walnut, Custard Cream biscuits, tea loaf.
Spiced orange and ginger, fresh malt, a good whack of sherry.
Brown sugar, lemon peel and whiffs of spicy oak.

A nice piece of art this is. Give it a drop or two of water and it opens up nicely and brings the spicy oak up forward together with a bit of custard. Brown sugar? More like butterscotch to me and that touch of old oak comes to mind again in the linger of this work of art. Thumbs up from here
