Golden Reverie 14 Year Old 2009 - Wemyss Malts (Inchgower)

Isabella Wemyss selected this cask of vintage 2009 Inchgower single malt Scotch whisky for its "radiant combination of sweet citrus, creamy custard, and tingling spice". Hence the name Golden Reverie. The Highland whisky was aged for 14 years in a single hogshead cask and filled just 248 bottles at 46% ABV.

    Tasting Note by The Producer

    Nose

The inviting aroma of bright citrus and rich custard tarts draws you in, with subtle undertones of warm spices hinting at the complexity to come.

    Palate

A delightful combination of sweet citrus notes and creamy custard, balanced by a gentle warmth of tingling spice that dances on the tongue, creating a full-bodied and luscious experience.

    Finish

The finish is long and warming, with the spice slowly fading, leaving a lingering sweetness that is both satisfying and memorable.
