Inchgower 18 Year Old 2000 (Edinburgh Whisky Ltd)

A rather fabulous bottling of Inchgower, released as part of the Edinburgh Whisky Limited’s Library Collection. The single malt was distilled in Buckie in May 2000, rested for 18 years in a single bourbon hogshead before it was finally bottled in Edinburgh in May 2018. Only 303 bottles of this wonderful Speysider were released, and there's a lovely scene on the bottle for you to marvel at as well.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Nostalgic old books and leather armchairs, with rich toasted nuts, namely walnut, refreshing menthol and creamy chocolate alongside the distinct aroma of fresh ground coffee.

    Palate

Buttery croissant, stewed apple with baking spices, clove and a pinch of pepper.

    Finish

Rich fruity jam with salted butter on a dry finish.
