RyeLaw Vintage 2018 (bottled 2025)
A Scottish rye in all but paperwork, distilled in 2018 and matured in charred new Appalachian oak, which does a lot of the talking here. This edition of InchDairnie's RyeLaw was bottled at 46.3% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vanilla custard, banana sweets, toffee, sandalwood, cinnamon, orange peel, fennel and marzipan.
Palate
Cereal-led at first, then nutmeg, ginger, clove, treacle and charred oak with fudgy depth.
Finish
Peppery and drying with oak spice, powdered sugar and a faint herbal edge.
