This single malt was distilled at Speyside's sadly silent Imperial Distillery back in 1995, and spent over two decades in a bourbon barrel. After 23 years, Thompson Bros. independently bottled the whisky at 53.1% ABV, with an outturn of just 166 bottles complete with snazzy label, as we often see from the bottler.
Waxy honey, with white florals and old oak, leading onto dried apricot, strawberry laces and pineapple loaf cake.
Chewy orange sweeties and floral honey, with plump raisin and creamy vanilla.
Buttery oak and freshly baked pastries.
