An indie Imperial single malt - another exciting release from The Single Malts of Scotland bottling range. This one was distilled in April 1997 and aged in a bourbon barrel for 21 years, before being bottled in June 2018. 215 bottles of whisky from this sadly departed distillery were produced.
Nose Greengages, vanilla pods, a touch of Turkish delight.
Palate Stewed orchard fruit with a good helping of cinnamon and nutmeg. Dryer hints of fresh barley develop later on.
Finish Slightly savoury on the finish with thyme and peppery coriander.
