Hyde No.8 Heritage Cask Bottling Note

An exciting addition to the range of Irish whiskey from Hyde! Single grain matured in a first-fill bourbon cask is combined with single malt which has been matured in Oloroso sherry casks for this No.8 edition. The two batches are then married in a stout cask for a six month finishing period. A gloriously Irish sipper with plenty of malty, coffee character!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla and creamy malt with wafts of freshly roasted coffee beans.

Palate: Biscuity with sweet spice, raisins, and hoppy cold brew coffee.

Finish: Butterscotch with lingering toasted oak, soaked fruits, warm baking spice and dark, malted chocolate.
