Highland Park
Scotland
Single Malt
From Highland Park's travel retail Warrior series comes Einar, a bold, intense dram which has been matured mostly in American oak casks. It's packed with smoky peat, sweet vanilla, and subtle tropical fruit notes, culminating in a long, well-balanced finish of smoke and sweetness. This entry in the Warrior series is named after Einar, who once ruled over Orkney, where the Highland Park distillery resides.

bought it cause i have an unopened jw blue label and this supposed to be similar. Yep, it's as terrible as the blue labe, disgusting from start to finish, can't even drink one glass of it .My faves Ardbeg, Laphroaig and Talisker smokey & beautiful.
Great whisky! 5 stars!
I’m liking this! On the nose- new oak, leather, Indian spices. Palate- apple, cuban cigar smoke, subtle vanilla. Oak ‘n smoke open up more with a few drops of water, as does sweetness of the vanilla. Long, earthy finish, with with leather and that cigar smoke lingering on the tongue. Fits the general profile of other HPs.
Theres the smoky notes, and a little sweetness. The nose is meh. However, distracted by a youngish note. Its not baad, but certainly not worth the highish price. Based on one dram and im hoping it gets better.
Bought this on the cross chanel ferry. I was very surprised and delighted at the combination of fruity and spicey notes with a mallow smokey after taste
