What could be a decent bottle is utterly ruined by the overpowering flavour of vanilla. For me, undrinkable, even when used in baking.
A bit light on the peat for me, smooth enough but I prefer the 12 so won't be buying again
An excellent whisky for those quiet moments when contemplating the gifts around us in the natural world.
The smoke and sherry meld together to produce something delightful. A definite 'buy again'. But darn that black bottle; for sure, it looks great, but the disappointment is crushing when you realise its empty sooner than you thought!
One of the nicest smokey(not too much) single malts I ve had . Warming and sweet to the palate . Will definitely reenish this as it was a gift
