Well-matured whisky from Highland Park is something of a marvel, and this 50 year old expression is certainly no exception to that. This one began its life in a pair of Spanish oak sherry seasoned hogsheads, which rested for many years before being married together and then returned to its casks for another little slumber. Bottled after a half a century of maturation, only 274 bottles were produced. Each one comes with a hefty presentation box alongside a very snazzy crystal decanter encased in silver-plated metal.
