29 year old single malt from Orkney's Highland Park distillery, independently bottled for the Connoisseurs Choice range by Gordon & MacPhail. This one was aged in refill sherry butt from 1989 to September 2018, then bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 613 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Beeswax and old oak furniture. Poached pear and strong coffee.
Palate
Dense plum and raspberry notes, followed by heathery smoke and leather.
Finish
Toasted brown sugar, flamed orange peel and sea salt.
