Nose Sweet sea breeze, complimented by buttered popcorn and a little damp earth (Jake says "Petrichor!"). Bonfire smoke, candied peels and perhaps a touch of mint ice cream.
Palate Oaky, smoky bonfire embers continue on the palate. Red delicious apples with the peels still on. Pleasingly oily with a touch of ready salted crisps on the mid palate.
Finish Fruity olive oil, walnut and a touch of home-made toffee. Very long and satisfying.
Overall A fantastic, generous Highland Park here with tonnes of character.
