Single Malt
Highland Park
Many experts rate 21-year-old Highland Park as one of the best examples from this popular distillery. Originally created exclusively for global travel retail and duty free markets, this whisky was named Best Single Malt of the Year at the World Whisky Awards 2009. Released in October 2007, Highland Park 21 is a full-flavoured, powerful, sweet single malt with a rich smoky finish.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sweet sherry with a hint of balsamic, wrapped around a toffee centre.
Well-structured sweetness; aniseed balls and muscovado sugar with some smoke and apple crumble.
Spicy raisins with the aniseed lingering for a drawn out, exotic note.
A lovely dram that shows off the best elements of this very popular distillery.

I tasted this next to the 18yo with a friend and both seemed to prefer the 18. It wasn't that this one was bad, just that it didn't bring anything to the table that would've justified the price difference.
This is my favourite whisky ever, It has a fantastic nose,..toffee, cooked apple, molasses. The taste has more of the same with a gentle peat, some subtle mint and smoke. The aftertaste has more of it but a bit of tobacco. It is just splendid. Well worth the price
I've always been a big Islay fan. Had many Highlands and others but always come back to that Islay peatiness...then having purchased a bottle of Bunnahabain Toiteach recently I decided to get a small 3cl sample of Highland Park 21. It was so spectacularly good that I ordered the full size bottle and at £120 I think I got a bargain! In fact I would say it was the finest whisky I've ever had. Beautifully smooth and slightly sweet 'highlandy' flavour, off set by subtle but noticeable smoke/peat. It's the balance of the whole thing that is so special in my opinion.
Nope nope nope. This is way worse than both the 18yr and the 30yr old HP. Taste like a white board pen.
For me, this is the finest single malt I am yet to try. Strong, smoky and sweet, the balance is perfect. Has a strong powerful finish, full of caramel tones and a hint of raisins. Has to be tried!
