Highland Park unveiled this London Edition bottling as part of its limited-edition Single Cask Series. This vintage 2002 whisky was matured in a single refill sherry-seasoned oak cask (#4627) for 18 years until 644 bottles were filled in 2021 at 58.8% ABV. It's a stellar release from the Orkney-based distillery.
The signature sweet, earthy smoke leads with dried fruit, sponge cake, and ginger in support.
Vanilla, orchard fruit, melon, heather, peat, cinnamon, and malt.
