An independently bottled Highland Park single malt, matured in a single first-fill Sherry butt for 13 years - from 2004 to February 2018. 655 bottles were released for the (newly redesigned) Connoisseurs Choice range by Gordon & MacPhail.
Smoke is subtle, letting the stewed fruit and treacle notes take the spotlight.
Once again, heather-y peat stays in the backing. Toffee, poached pear and chocolate stick to the fore.
Vanilla-rich malt, peppercorn and cinnamon.
