The entry level bottling from Scotland's most northerly distillery, Highland Park, aged for 12 years. This is an older design, before the Highland Park range underwent a rebrand in 2017, and another in 2024. A fab find for a retro collection.
These bottles were part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

I found this salty and unpleasant. This is just my personal taste as everyone else I was drinking with thoroughly enjoyed it.
Creamy, one of the Best 12 yr olds
Nice woody deciduous forest-floor taste, then wet wool with a touch of sea breeze. Really comes to life when viewing a Peploe still life, or one of those Tom Robertson misty landscapes. Rich velvet carpet slippers help to relax the taste buds and highlight the flavour.
As other reviewers mention, for the dollar, you'd be hard pressed to beat it, thankfully they have it in the local supermarket, an added bonus for sure. Quality considering its $38 cost of entry.
I'm not sure you can beat this whiskey in terms of sheer value for money - consistently surprises me every time I go back to it, which is becoming more and more often. Great depth of flavour and just the right level of sweetness to make this a great evening sip. Highly recommended
