The entry level bottling from Scotland's most northerly distillery, Highland Park, aged for 12 years. This is an older design, before the Highland Park range underwent a rebrand in 2017, and another in 2024. A fab find for a retro collection.

I have 43% love it daily drinker
Bought this for £25 so I could have a cheaper bottle to tuck into from time to time. It's ok, drinkable, though not special. So for me it's not worth the 5 star praise. At all.
I found it just okay. After everything I read, I was under the impression that HP 12 was THE 12 year old scotch. I thought maybe it would improve over time. Had the bottle about 9 months and although it did improve a bit, I never really warmed up to it.
Subtly smokey, and very flavourful. Great scotch on a budget!
I'm new to scotch and first let me say, I LOVE IT!!! That being said, not all scotchs are created equally. I really love this one. All the high praises are warranted.
