The entry level bottling from Scotland's most northerly distillery, Highland Park, aged for 12 years. This is an older design, before the Highland Park range underwent a rebrand in 2017, and another in 2024. A fab find for a retro collection.
These bottles were part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Top 3 whisky 12 yrs and under in the world... The substance in this dram is missing now .. used to be so good but not anymore .. i hope HP come back to what it was a year back..
This is a very good scotch. I have several dozen scotchs in my collection and this one is in my top 5 favorites. It has a great smokey flavor with nice complexity. It is at a good price and will def keep this in my collection.
Whilst i can see that this whisky has a certain finesse about it, i'm not a fan of it's taste profile. I find it too bland, and lacking in a good sweetness and 'oomph!'. It's vibes are cold and not heartwarming. It's smokiness reminds me of cheap whisky like Teachers. Not overly impressed with this one, although i do find that adding some water DOES significantly improve the taste and add some creamy warmth to it.
it is aromatic, interesting and quite complex. some of the notes were not for me although a good value dram
I'm glad i paid no more than £26 for a bottle of this, cos it ain't worth much more. I b ought it based upon the many good reviews but have to say that whilst i find it a very delicate Whisky, that i also feel that the flavours are very 'muted'. Ralfy on 'u tube', scored this presentation lower than the original one, blamed it on chill filtering and added colouring, to make this current presentation more 'trendy'. I gotta say i know where he's coming from, and feel this Whisky is somehow missing that big expression of flavours. I'll report back later on, but for now it's a decent whiskey that is sweet and smoky, but also very crisp. Could do with more overall warmth.
