The entry level bottling from Scotland's most northerly distillery, Highland Park, aged for 12 years. This is an older design, before the Highland Park range underwent a rebrand in 2017, and another in 2024. A fab find for a retro collection.
These bottles were part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Good body, rich sherry, full and sweet. inviting aromatic wood smoke. quite delicious. lacks integration however - what you see is what you get.
Liked the Old 12 y much more. The new is not at that tasty. A big disappointment.
Never fails to satisfy on the nose I get creamy porridge oats honey peaches strawberries and cream tangerines and fruit cake the Taste is fruit cake with marzipan and sweet icing and a taste of very light pipe tobacco smoke coming through The finish oak and the pipe tobacco smoke becomes stronger but not intense very smooth and satisfying
Had it in a bar a couple of years ago, but didn't like it much then. Now on offer in supermarket and picket up a bottle. And I love it. There is a sulfur-like, old wood, pipe tobacco sweet sublte, smokeyness to it that keeps me wanting more!
I'm getting a wee bit peaty smoky undertones and soft honey toffee on the palate. The nose is creamy and toffee. It's spirity on the taste with a slight old rolling tobacco aftertaste. Not too bad and one I'd buy again.
